The Story Behind Our Premium Candles
Our story began in 2020 with a desire to make gifts for loved ones during the height of the pandemic.
We love the special quality a handmade item lends to gift-giving, and we wanted to bring some brightness to the lives of our loved ones during such a tumultuous time.
What started as a hobby quickly shifted into a passion for making earth-friendly candles with a great scent throw. We wanted to share these special candles with the world!
Now, everyone can gift their loved ones (or themselves) with a thoughtful, handmade candle.
About Waverly Wicks
Waverly Wicks is a small, woman-owned and operated candle business that cares about the ingredients we use, as well as the footprint our company leaves on the Earth.
Our candles are housed in recycled glass containers. We use natural wax blends, high-end, nontoxic fragrance oils, and ethically sourced wood wicks. We pride ourselves on making affordable, eco-friendly, and elegant candles.
You can feel good about purchasing a candle made by Waverly Wicks, knowing that you’re shopping small, keeping the earth in mind, and not breaking the bank on your path to attain a quality product.
Fragrance Candles That Are One of a Kind
We intend for our customers to be seeking a candle that throws a preferred fragrance (of choice) and has a substantial burn time and a clean or neutral aesthetic (recycled non-branded heat-resistant glass with a sustainable bamboo lid).
Our team also wants customers to have sustainably conscious (organic wax free of toxins or parabens) candles that are handcrafted by fellow candle lovers (us!) who enjoy their home smelling clean and fresh yet with an awareness of indoor air quality.
We will also be seeking customers who wish to think outside the box in sourcing custom party favors for their guests to remember well beyond the event.
A complimentary service to our core product line will be customer-centric branding using an iron to heat stamp a logo of choice on the bamboo lid and a sustainably sourced burlap carry bag.
